Go karting in Sofia happens on a 960 m outdoor track with 16 turns in Krasna Polyana, floodlit for night racing and open 364 days a year. Adults race 270cc karts (up to 80 km/h) for €19 for 10 minutes or €22 for 15. Kids from 7 drive junior karts for €15, and from age 4 they can ride in a double kart with a parent (€18.50). Groups of up to 14 can book the track just for themselves, with live lap times on your phone.
Racing as a group? Tell us the date and how many drivers. We'll book an exclusive session and can add transport there and back.
💬 Book the trackThis isn't a car park with tyres around it. The circuit is 960 metres of high-grip asphalt with 16 technical turns, laid out by professional racers, and fully lit for night racing. The fastest lap stands at 61.8 seconds, which gives every group something to chase.
Lap times go live to your phone through the timing app, so the argument about who won is settled before you take your helmet off. Onboard 4K video is available if you want proof.
Is 10 minutes enough? For a first go, yes. For a group race, book two sessions: one to learn the track, one that counts.
Families: kids from 7 drive their own junior kart, younger ones from 4 ride with a parent. See our guide to things to do in Sofia with kids. Birthdays: a private race with a podium works from age 7 to 70, see birthday ideas. Teams: timed laps and a leaderboard are the easiest team building there is, see team building in Sofia. Stag groups: karting is the Saturday afternoon alternative in our stag weekend.
The track is outdoors, so check the forecast. Message us on the day and we'll confirm it's on.
If karting gets you hooked, these are the next step up. All are within about an hour of the city and need no experience, unless noted.
