ATV (quad bike) tours near Sofia start at the base in Mirovyane, 30 minutes from the centre, on full-size automatic Can-Am Outlander machines. No licence or experience needed. The group tour is 60 minutes on Saturdays and Sundays for €60. The private tour is 90 minutes, any day, just your group, for €75. A passenger on your ATV costs €15 (group) or €25 (private). Hotel pickup is €60 round trip for up to 4 people.

💬 Check ATV datesThis is the activity our guests book most, and the one that gets the loudest reviews. Thirty minutes outside Sofia the city disappears: forest tracks, steep climbs, muddy descents and ridges with views over the Balkan range. You drive your own quad the whole way, with a guide in front setting the pace.
If you've never ridden anything with an engine, don't worry. The Can-Ams are automatic and very stable. After the briefing and five minutes on the trail, almost everyone relaxes and starts enjoying it.
Pickup or drive. We can collect you from your hotel (€60 round trip for up to 4, €120 for up to 8), or you drive to the base and park for free. Arrive 15 to 20 minutes early.
Briefing and gear. Helmet, goggles, protective gear and a short safety talk. You get to know the machine before you leave the base.
The ride. 60 or 90 minutes of forest trails, climbs, mud and viewpoints, with stops for photos. The guide adjusts the route to the group.
Back to Sofia. The whole thing takes about half a day including transfers, so it fits easily before lunch or an evening out.
Clothes you're happy to get muddy, because you will, and closed shoes. A light jacket in spring and autumn. Everything protective is provided. Light rain and mud usually make the ride better. If conditions are genuinely unsafe, the ride is rescheduled or refunded.
