Do I need any experience?
None at all. Both the rafting and canyoning are suitable for complete beginners. Your instructors will brief you fully before each activity.
What should I bring?
Just a swimsuit, a t-shirt, and a towel. All technical equipment is provided on-site.
Can I rent a camera to film the experience?
Yes — action camera rental is available for €25, and video shooting for €35. Mention it when booking.
Is there a minimum group size?
Yes, a minimum of 4 participants is required. Travelling solo or as a couple? Contact us — we can often match you with another group.
How far is it from Sofia?
The meeting point is approximately 120 km from Sofia — about 90 minutes by car. Transport from Sofia can be arranged on request.
Where exactly is the meeting point?

What if the weather is bad?

Arrival at the Base

Meet your instructors at the Rafting.BG base near Simitli. Safety briefing, equipment fitting — neoprene suit, helmet, life jacket — and a quick warm-up before hitting the water.

Morning: Struma River Rafting

8–12 km of fast-moving water through the dramatic Kresna Gorge. Rapids, splashes, teamwork — and views of sheer rock walls rising on both sides. Pure adrenaline in one of Bulgaria's finest river gorges.

Afternoon: Kazanite Canyon

The gorge gives way to the canyon. Wade through narrow channels of crystal-clear mountain water, jump from natural rock formations into cold pools, and slide down smooth stone chutes carved by centuries of river flow. Wild, raw, unforgettable.

Hot Showers & Back on the Road

On-site hot showers and changing rooms at the base. Return your equipment, grab something to eat nearby if you like, and head back to Sofia — with about 4 hours of mountain adventure behind you.
