It is one of the city's oldest folk restaurants: wooden interiors, regional costumes, lamb from the spit and a horo guests are invited to join. Most guests spend €25 to 35 each on food and drinks, plus a €4.50 programme fee.

Chevermeto is at the National Palace of Culture (NDK), 1 Bulgaria Square, slightly below street level, so it is easy to miss on foot. There are two entrances: under the covered walkway next to the NDK car park, or from Bulgaria Blvd at the start of Pencho Slaveykov Blvd, where signs lead to the restaurant's free car park. NDK metro station is a short walk away.
