Al Capone's Secret Bar is an escape room in Sofia set in a 1920s speakeasy, run by 3KEY Rooms on Tsar Samuil Street in the city centre. You are guests in the mob boss's private bar, and your team has 70 minutes to beat his tricks: locks, hidden compartments, a roulette table and puzzles that only work when everyone talks. The room takes 2 to 8 players, so a whole stag do or birthday group can play together. A team of two pays €60, and from three players it is €25 per person.

You have been let into his secret bar, and you have 70 minutes to show you are as tricky as the mob. It is an escape room, not a real bar, but the set does its best to make you forget that: a long bar counter, a gramophone, red curtains and a roulette table, with clues hidden in all of it.
There are no actors and nothing scary. Players over 18 get controlled access to light alcoholic drinks during the game, and the decor plays with the cheeky side of the mob's business without being vulgar, which is what makes this speakeasy escape room a favourite for adult groups. For players from 12 or a more conservative group, 3KEY runs a 60 minute version without these elements. Just tell us which one you want when you book. The room was nominated for TERPECA in 2025, for the seventh year, a ranking voted by players who have done more than 200 escape rooms.
With space for eight, this is one of the few rooms where a whole group plays as one team, so it works well as a stag do escape room in Sofia, for a hen party, a birthday or colleagues after work. If the next slot is free, you can also rent the room for a while after the game and stay on with cable TV and board games. Ask us and we will check.
More than eight of you? Split into two teams and play back to back in the same room, or send a second team of up to five to the BOOM! Room on Vasil Levski Boulevard. When you book two or more rooms, 3KEY asks a €30 deposit per room, which is not returned for a no show or a change or cancellation within 48 hours. For one room there is no deposit.
