CARVE is Bulgaria's first indoor ski centre and the easiest way to try indoor ski in Sofia in any month of the year. The slope moves under your skis like an endless run, 9 metres long at 14°, and a certified instructor works with beginners for the whole session. Children from age 4, adults, families and teams all ski in the same one-hour format, with skis or a snowboard, boots and protective gear included. Prices start at €21, and the mountain bar with mulled wine, grog and Mursal tea is right next to the slope.

These are the ski lessons for kids in Sofia that work in winter and summer alike, with no mountain trip and no rental queue.
Skis or a board, boots and protective gear are all included, so children only need long socks and clothes that can get a little wet. Prices for children up to 14 are lower, and parents can wait at the mountain bar while the lesson runs.
For €100 an hour your group has the slope to itself: no other guests, and you set the pace with the instructor. It suits birthdays, school groups and corporate team-building, and works for ski or snowboard.
