The Masonic Legacy is a treasure hunt escape room in Sofia by Emergency Escape, on Hristo Botev Boulevard in the city centre. For decades people have whispered that a great fortune is hidden in an old mansion in the centre of Sofia, guarded by the Masons and a trail of riddles that only the worthiest heirs can solve. Your team has 60 minutes to follow it. The room takes 2 to 6 players and the price is per team, from €50 for two to €90 for six. You pay a 20% advance by card when you book, and the rest at the venue.

The price is for the whole team and covers the 60 minute game. When you book, you pay a 20% advance by card through our Stripe link (€10 for two up to €18 for six). It is taken off the price on the day, and you pay the rest at the venue, in cash or by bank transfer.
The Masons are a secret society wrapped in myths and legends. In this story, members of the brotherhood gave their lives to protecting a fortune and left behind a pile of riddles, so that only the most deserving heirs could ever find it. You play those heirs. Locks, hidden objects and coded messages lead you on, and this treasure hunt escape room rewards careful searching and clear thinking more than speed.
Emergency Escape rates it 4 out of 5 for difficulty, so it suits teams who have played before as well as curious first timers. There is nothing scary inside: the rooms are spacious and well lit, and if anyone feels uncomfortable, you tell the game master and they take you out straight away. You do not need to know anything about the Masons to play.
The Masonic Legacy takes 2 to 6 players, and Emergency Escape suggests four as the ideal team: with two you may run out of time, with six it gets cosy. Next door is their second room, The Toy Workshop, with the same team sizes and prices, so a group of up to 12 can split into two teams and play both games at the same time. It is also a good family escape room in Sofia: children from 8 can help a team with adults, and kids can form their own team from 9.
