On a bridge you look down at a river and up at the steel. From a balloon there is nothing around you but the basket and open sky: fields below, Stara Planina on the horizon and air under your feet. The balloon climbs quietly for about 10 minutes to up to 100 metres, which makes the moment at the edge even louder in your head. From harness to landing the whole jump takes about 20 minutes.
The balloon stays tethered to the ground the whole time, certified jump masters check every harness and every step, and the jump only goes ahead when the wind allows it. The team behind the jumps has 10 years and more than 5,000 jumps without an incident. The balloon operation is declared for commercial flights with the Bulgarian Civil Aviation Administration under EU Regulation 2018/395 (aircraft LZ-MVS and LZ-NMS).
Every jump is filmed with a 4K action camera, at no extra cost. You get the video as a download link by email or WhatsApp within a few days of your jump, ready to keep and share.
Up to five people can jump in one group, and friends who do not jump can come along and watch from the field. Jump first and celebrate later: nobody who has been drinking goes up.
