Balloons take off early in the morning, when the air is calm, and float above the Sofia plain with Stara Planina on the horizon. On a free flight nothing holds the balloon: it rises and travels with the wind for about 30 minutes, and the crew follows by car to meet you wherever you land. The ground crew brings you back to the launch site; this return journey is included in the flight price. No two flights take the same route.
