The machine

A 2026 CFMOTO ZForce Z10-4 Turbo, built up for hard off-road: bigger tyres, more ground clearance, a wider track, a performance clutch kit and a tuned ECU. The result is 210 HP and 0 to 100 km/h in 3.9 seconds. It is a four-seat buggy, also called a side-by-side.

Which route to pick

40 minutes is a short, intense hit: straight into the mountain and up to Bachun Peak. 80 minutes is the one most people choose. It carries on past the peak to the chapel of St George the Victorious, with steeper climbs, rockier sections and open views. 120 minutes is the full route, along the mountain tracks beyond the chapel, for anyone who wants as much time off-road as possible.

Passenger or driver

On the route itself the guide drives: someone who knows every rut on the trail and how far the machine can be pushed. Passengers can ride from age 8. Want to drive? Add a 20-minute driving session for €50 per person, on top of your route. You need a Category B licence and must be 18 or over, and the guide sits next to you.

Yes. The ZForce is what most people call a buggy or side-by-side: an open four-seat off-road vehicle, much more powerful than an ATV or quad bike.
Which route should I choose?+
80 minutes if you are not sure. It is long enough to really feel the machine and the terrain without rushing. Choose 40 for a quick hit, or 120 if you want the whole trail.
Can I drive the UTV?+
Yes, as an add-on: a 20-minute driving session for €50 per person, on top of your route. You need a Category B licence and must be 18 or over.
How old do you need to be?+
Passengers can ride from age 8. To drive, you must be 18 or over and have a Category B licence.
How many people fit in one ride?+
Up to 3 guests plus the guide. Tell us your group size and we plan the rides.
Do I need any experience?+
No. You get a safety briefing before you set off, and the guide sets the pace.
What should I wear?+
Clothes you do not mind getting muddy and closed shoes, trainers or boots. Helmet and balaclava are provided, and gloves on request.
Does it run in winter?+
Yes, all year round.
What if the weather is bad?+
Light rain is fine, and the mud makes it more fun. If it is actually unsafe, we move you to another day or refund you in full.
What is your cancellation policy?+
Cancel at least 48 hours before your ride for a full refund. If we cancel because conditions are unsafe, you get a full refund or a new date.
How long does the whole trip take?+
Your route, 40, 80 or 120 minutes, plus 20 minutes before the start for the briefing, and 20 minutes for each driving session. With hotel pick-up, add the drive: about 20 minutes each way.
How far is it from Sofia?+
About 20 minutes from the city centre. We send you the meeting point when we confirm, or pick you up from your hotel from €60 per car, return.
