Every puzzle in The Trap was designed by Valya and Teodor, the couple who run Hour Escape. They are not franchised rooms or stock scenarios — these are original, handcrafted challenges that have been refined over hundreds of games. The design allows every player to contribute: visual thinkers, logical thinkers, communicators, and people who work well under stress each have moments where their skill is exactly what the team needs. After your game, Valya and Teodor give you personal feedback on how your team played — what you did well, where you struggled, and how you could improve.

The standard room is recommended for ages 12 and up. For younger children, Hour Escape offers a dedicated family-friendly version designed specifically for ages 9 to 13, with puzzles adjusted in difficulty and atmosphere. If you are booking for a mixed group with younger participants, mention it when you reserve and we will coordinate the right version for your team.

Is the price per person or per room?

Do I need to speak Bulgarian?

No — the room runs in both English and Bulgarian. Tell us your language preference when booking and we will make sure everything is set up for you.
