Do I need sailing experience?
None at all — a qualified skipper handles all the sailing. You just sit back and enjoy the ride.
Can I bring my own food and drinks?
Yes — you're welcome to bring anything you like. The only restriction is red wine. Glass cups are best left ashore for safety reasons.
Do I need to wear shoes on board?
No outdoor shoes allowed on deck. Go barefoot (recommended in summer) or bring a clean pair of white-soled, non-marking sneakers to change into before boarding.
Is there a toilet on board?
There is no toilet on board — please keep this in mind before departure.
What should I wear?
Dress according to the weather. Don't rely on Sofia's forecast — the microclimate at Iskar Reservoir is quite different. When in doubt, bring a light layer and call us before you come.
Is swimming allowed?
Swimming in the reservoir is at your own risk. Life jackets are provided and must be worn on board — your skipper will brief everyone before departure.
Are children welcome?
Yes — children are welcome when accompanied by a responsible adult, who takes full responsibility for the child's safety and behaviour on board.
What if the weather changes?
We monitor specialist forecasts specifically for Iskar Reservoir — not Sofia or Samokov, as the microclimate differs significantly. If conditions become unsafe, we will contact you to reschedule.
What is the cancellation policy?
Cancellations less than 48 hours before — 50% charge. Cancellations within 12 hours or no-shows — 100% charge.
Is there parking at the marina?
Yes — both free and paid parking are available on site. Call us when you arrive and we'll guide you.
Can I book a surprise?
Absolutely — surprises can be planned in advance and tailored to the occasion. Just let us know when you enquire.
