Do I need experience to ride a waterjet?
No experience required. The machines are designed to be intuitive and a certified instructor will give you a full safety briefing before you enter the water. Most people are confident within the first few minutes.
Can two people ride together?
Yes — each waterjet takes up to 2 people. The price (€50 or €90) is per jet, not per person. An additional fee applies for a second rider — mention this when booking through SoFun.
When is it available?
Weekends only, June through September. Book at least 2 days in advance before 14:00. We'll confirm your booking and coordinate timing through SoFun on WhatsApp or Viber.
What is the minimum age?
Minimum age is 16. Riders under 18 must be accompanied by an adult. Mention any age-related details when booking.
Which session should I choose?
If you're trying it for the first time, 15 minutes is a solid introduction. If you're making the trip specifically for the experience or coming with a group, 30 minutes gives you much more time on the water and better value per minute.

Drive or Transfer to the Dam

~1 hour each way by car — free parking on site. Or we can arrange a private transfer from your hotel directly to Iskar Dam and back.

Safety Briefing & Gear Up

Your instructor covers everything before you get on the water — how to operate the jet, safety rules, and what to do if you fall off. Life jacket and helmet fitted and checked.

On the Water

15 or 30 minutes of open water on Bulgaria's largest reservoir. Mountains all around, water splashing, dam views. The instructor stays nearby throughout. Build speed as you get comfortable.

Back to Sofia

Drive or transfer back, still damp, with a story worth telling. Back in the city within an hour of finishing.
